Blues from Seattle's Pioneer Square
was featured on this out-of-print compilation gem.
This impressive blues compilation project from Seattle, Washington was produced by
Kathy Hart and Chris Leighton and executive producers Gary Peterson and Nora
Michaels in 1993 by Axiom Records. It encompassed a variety of blues artists who
performed in Pioneer Square in the late 1980's and early 1990's. It was released on
CD and cassette format in the spring of 1993 and was never reprinted to this
author's knowledge.
Digital mastering for the Seattle blues compilation was by Peter Barnes and Bill
Wolford at Music Source. The album cover illustration was by Jim Carey, the release
design was by Gary Peterson and special thanks on the inset were given to Cholo
Wilsin and the Washington Blues Society.
